There are many ways Training Providers can support schools. Each organisation is unique and offers a range of services, courses and bespoke programmes. The following are a snap shot of typical support options but please check with the individual provider whose contact details are in their section of this website or alternatively use the Contact Form at the end of this page.
Alternative Education
Many providers have the capacity to accommodate Alternative Education for those aged between 14-16 and may be disengaged from mainstream provision. There is usually a charge for this provision.
Open Events/Career Fairs
We are keen to engage with young people, breaking down barriers, and offering advice and guidance on a range of post 16 pathways. Members can give tailored advice at open days, and engage with a wide range of year groups.
Class/Year Assemblies
Our members can offer assemblies and presentations on their offer, about apprenticeships, vocational areas, or what it is like attending a Training Provider.
One-to-One
Our friendly teams are happy to talk to students on an individual basis. We are able to accommodate private appointments, appointments with parents/carers or support workers.
Site Visits
Many members offer visits to our sites for tours of our in house facilities and vocational areas, and to speak with relevant staff about students progression from school. Some are also able to offer bespoke workshops.
Workshops
Some members can offer bespoke workshops to groups of students, either at their site or at your school. We can offer workshops on mock interviews, CV workshops, understanding the labour market and many more.
