The UK is currently suffering from a Mental Health Pandemic, with little help available through the public sector and many people suffering under the radar.
The law states that all business must have a physical first aider that is able to treat injured individuals, however there are no legal requirements in relation to mental health first aiders.
Jamie from Penshaw View has started a petition to make mental health first aiders mandatory in all businesses with more than 5 employees.
