BL Hairdressing Apprenticeships – The real alternative to college! Established in 1986 we are based in the North East of England, providing high standards of training for the future generation of talented hairdressers & barbers!
We have 3 training academies in Newcastle, Darlington & Stockton and work with the best employers in the region that offer real employment opportunities for enthusiastic and creative individuals.
Working closely with employers, apprentices and the local community, we have now expanded our provision to include a Summer Academy, Traineeships, Hairdressing Apprenticeship Standards, Barbering Apprenticeship Standards, Technical Workshops and Higher Apprenticeships including Salon Management.
We provide a recruitment service for school leavers and young people who are interested in a career in hairdressing and barbering delivering courses for everyone, from apprentices through to salon managers. Our aim is to provide a ‘one stop shop’ of training solutions for businesses with staff at different levels and different job roles. We pride ourselves on offering flexible and bespoke training packages, alongside the more traditional qualifications-based route and offer onsite training and academy based provision.
